Not for $700,000 a year.....This type of pay will open doors for many coaches that is years past we would not be able to talk to.......I would not judge Foster on the Clemtech games.....His resume speaks for itself.....

Much like CU, he is good against ACC competition, but can't cut it against quality programs.

Am a Gamecock fan first, Hokie second, grew up in Virginia thru last part of high school and college and was going to VT games when they were nothing. Granted they are a respectable program these days, but, VT/Beamer/Foster are 1 & 19 against teams in the top five; I attended VT vs Bama two years ago, VT vs Boise State last year and the Orange Bowl vs. Stanford, they really didn't show up for the Bama and Stanford and choked at the end against Boise because Foster is slow to change/adapt (insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results) and if you have watched them over the years, their players tend to trash talk a good bit as well, as noted in several other posts, they had nothing for Clemson. I was at our game this year and the ACC championship, their defense looked confused and up front got pushed around - just the polar opposite of our game/results. Ask yourself this, if he is so good, why is he still there?

This is a down vote for Bud Foster. He missed his window. IMO, not worth the 700k this go around.

I wouldn't want Bud Foster if he agreed to come here for 100k.
