Would Peyton REALLY go to a John Fox led team????

  • Has he ever watched a team's offense 0f a team led by John Fox? They are run first then run some more. John Elway is NOT calling the plays for the Broncos, and I know JF isn't either, but a QB will NEVER thrive with the pass on a team whose head coach is John Fox. Do yourself a favor Peyton and go to the Dolphins!! The Broncos would be a VERY bad fit.

  • Would Fox really want Peyton. He seems way to skilled to be wanted by Fox. Fox's offense is so conservative Lou Holtz is screaming at the TV to pass the ball every once in a while. Fox seems content with guys like Delhomme, doesn't seem to want an elite qb.

  • That's true. I wonder if it is more JF pursuing Manning or John Elway.

  • Manning will be the OC regardless of where he goes. It will be his offense. John Fox would be making a great decision to get Peyton because that means fox could worry about the defense and give the offense to its mastermind.

  • Fox doesn't run the offense regardless of the QB, and certainly not if he has manning.

Why would he want to go to the Dolphins? If he goes to Denver they're automatically a contender and guaranteed to win their division in the 1st year. Plus in Denver he's got one of the top defenses in the league so he doesn't have to do everything himself. If he goes to Miami they MAY be the 2nd best team in the division. That's not even taking into account the fan support difference between both teams. It seems like a no brainer to me especially since wherever Manning goes he's going to be calling his own plays.

  • Yes, who wouldn't want to face the Jets and the Patriots twice each year for the next 3 years as opposed to playing in the AFC west where any place he goes will get him into the playoffs. Whomp Whomp Miami.

    Give me Kansas City.

I agree. No team is going to spend the kind of money it would take to sign PM without making a commitment to allow him to run the offense. PM would not sign with a team without that commitment.

    Spurrier...I appreciate him plenty

  • he would be the offensive coordinator. and jf had a good defense last year that kept tebow in games. denver would be very good team in a weak afc west. they would be a playoff team and a superbowl contender
