Would it have been better for Bellemy

  • To have not gotten kicked off? Now he can't rot the team from within. I would have liked to have seen him cry and complain about playing time and watch all his fumbles and shenanigans ruin the team. O well, I'll take either

  • Did Bellyache get the boot? I was at work tonight, did I miss something?

  • Lack of senior and upperclass leadership is evident, when things like this happen. Palyers make palyers get in line, not coaches. When you have a strong senior class they get the star underclassm,en to fall in line. Yes there will always be some that are just not good kids, but to fail out means you werent going to class at all. It really is not a measure in actual brain power but maturity. Obviously he had nobody making him go to class or holding him accountable.

    Kinda reminds me of the last few Holtz years and the first couple Spurrier years...Inmates running the asylum. I cant say enough about the type of character kids we've recruited the past few years. Give me 3 and 4 star kids with good character and willing to work and get better than 5 star thugs with a sense of entitlement any day. Dabo is a "players coach" and that is gonna bite him in the ass...

    Well, you could look at it that way, or the possibility that now that he's gone, there's no one to keep their hands over his mouth, or hypnotists having him brain-washed and drinking the kool-aid. What's funny is, nothing has been proven publicly that funny business is going on up there, yet they're imploding on their own. Eventually though, something will make it to daylight, and the proverbial straw that breaks the Tater's back will finish what their brass has started in painting themselves into a corner keeping and locking up the KING of BS.

    The chickens are coming home to roost, Bobby Boucher!!

    For the sake of argument, say that Bellamy got illegal inducements (money, cars, women or all three) to come to Clemson. Would they then have dared to let him get dropped from the team, knowing that he could rat them out?

  • All the Clemson brass would do is threaten him with contacting the IRS about the money he definitely didn't pay taxes on and all would be swept under the rug.

    several points;

    1) I stated he was most over-rated prospect in country prior to signing day(based on what I saw at USA AA game) He went down with fingertip tackles, and to be fair said Sammy looked awesome. Know it's hard to make judgements based on single all star game, but those two were outliers imo

    2) He stunk as a freshman, if it was sammy watkins...think they would have found the way to keep him

    3) He reminds me of Da'rick ... trouble maker, bad character but not productive. Know people don't like me calling out Hioltz, but he kept these type of kids(good and bad players) trying to turn their lives around(honorable, but didn't work for program) Smallest adversity, and its chaotic

  • I wouldn't choose Bellamy in backyard football

    Mainly because I would knock his lil Whiney punk ass out when I dialed up the flea flicker and he didn't like it .

    In that one game you could tell he would never do anything at Clemson . I think every gamecock fan could see how soft he was

  • Fear not. White Chocolate is on the way. Super Swag will take up Bellamy's post as team cancer in due time.

    Demetris Summers. From what I was reading last year, it appeared that after leaving Carolina, he matured and straightened his life out. I wish him the best.
