Morris will probably just got a boost in stock options in McClatchy. He's bringing the name of the State to the entire nation with all the television coverage. They probably love him and think that's what they hired him for.

Corey Miller is a complete dousch bag. He was an under achiever as a player and flat out quit on Sparky and his staff in 1989. I do not consider him a true Gamecock. He is simply a media wannabe who bashes his alma mater. I doubt very seriously that Ron Morris considers Corey Miller a member of the media.

You have all got this wrong about what Spurrier is trying to do...he is doing this so MoRon gets a promotion and will leave The MisState...then it is happy days are here again.

That's the problem, though. They think that any pub is good pub for them. It has been documented on here many times. They hold to the "stir the pot" mentality and depend on that to sell newspapers. They want to make people buy papers out of anger, not loyalty. Doesn't seem like a sound business model to me, but what do I know?

Curious as to how he is supporting him. Does he think Morris has the RIGHT to interview Spurrier or that Spurrier has an OBLIGATION to talk to Morris.
It is a closed case. Spurrier can talk to whomever he damn well pleases. I'm curious as to what Corey thinks Spurrier HAS to do.

be prepared for most everybody outside gamecock fans to dis the ball coach on this. it gives all the haters another chance to recount their hate, and for media types to feel obligated to speak up for media types.
the fact the original piece was back in march also lends fuel to the fire. i think sos did what he did for a reason, knowing full well it would be dumped on by the national media & all the other fans that hate him. he is willing to take the heat. what the plan is, i dunno, but i am up for whatever the obc is doing

I just got into Charlotte, drove up from Columbia. Listened to Heath Cline the entire way...always thought he was a little smug. Now I just think he's a biotch. Guy is never wrong, I bet he never played a sport, but was rather on his high school year book committee and spurned all of the kids that won the popularity vote by omitting their pictures...
