Not sure what you guys expected from a tater

HAHA, you want loyalty but dont show it yourself. He's getting a chance to be the head guy one last time at 60, let him go.

I am very loyal, this thread is aout a tater.

Ftr, i dn't think he should have coached in the bowl. He also is no longer a gamecock and never will be again. He's back to being a tater imo.

He coached at Clemson for 3 years out of a 36-year coaching career. He played football at and graduated from The Citadel. After he left Clemson in 1996, he coached the next 11 years at Alabama, The Citadel, and Mississippi State.

    So you're full of it.

  • My preference would be to have a guy that's 100% in the game. At this point we can't say EJ would be able to do that. So, I'm not offended at all.

Plus, with all the adversity this team has gone through this year, I'm confident that our guys will be able to get through a bowl game without EJ at the helm.

    Classic!!!!!!!! Lol.

Never enjoyed watching the borderline apology 'to his Clemson buds' during his post game interviews after Clemson beat downs.

  • Maybe I see this different from some of you guys, but I think a coach should not leave a team until the season is over...period.

I think it should be a rule...the new team can't have the coach until the last game is played.

Can't help but agree with that. Really like EJ and glad he made a stop here, but I'd really like to see an entire coaching staff that
wants to stomp the dog sh!t out of those MF'ers every year with no apologies.
Also, not really that keen on Spurriers' attempts to be buddy buddy with Dumbo, and just look the other way when Dumbo does a twenty something mentality rant.
Interesting perspective from the two coaches these days. Spurrier wants to be friends, and Dumbo wants to make it blatantly apparent how much he hates SC.

Not to mention he helped us stomp their butts the last three seasons. Now I do understand he has taters in his family, but you can't help who you're family is.

Which one is working? I'll hate Clemtech enough for SOS, his family, all of our coaches, and anyone else involved as long as we keep beating them on the field.

I think the difference between the 2 coaches situation is that Fedora already has a staff to take with him to UNC, and Ellis has to put a staff together in a short amount of time.No easy task."Class" is not in the equation.

  • I dont know about the tater thing, but by the time usc hires someone to replace spurrier, no way in the world we hire a guy 64+ years or older to be our coach! Gotta have a younger coach who can relate to the kids. So, EJ is afan of usc from this point on.

Fedora is the head coach, Ellis is an assistant...he did a good job here, let it go.
