It depends on where they hit them. I would say in the first couple of rows, though.

You probably cannot go wrong by sitting in the stands. Your chances are smaller if you stay in the parking lot. You also do not stand a very good chance if you sit behind the backstop.

Your best chance is if you stand on the field.

I would also wear a catcher's mask, along with the jersey. Facepaint never hurts either.
