As if it were official. If that's the case, will they try to make our game later in the season? Is it not too late to make such drastic schedule changes?

I could be very wrong, but I believe the SEC sets the schedule for SEC games, not the teams themselves. The teams do set the non-conference schedule. Bottom-line is that it doesn't matter what they do with Clemson, our schedule is set when it comes to UGA.

Clemson and ESPN are apparently interested in moving the season opener to Monday. But thats quite a hard sell for Georgia.

It does not have to happen for dabo the clown to squeeze every ounce of propaganda out of it possible.
dabo the clown is the one who put this rumor out and it will not be put to rest until after signing day so dabo the clown can go around comparing his team to the other team that plays on monday nights....the green bay packers.

Clempson is so fired up for this game it is not even even funny. I ran into a buddy this weekend who was talking about how they "really had a shot" this season. While I am not 100% sure what he meant by "a shot" im pretty sure he meant the MNC. Basically said it was a 3 game season and I agree with him. Never in my life have I ever been able to pull for The Dawgs but for the love of all the is holy please let UGA beat them to death. The ClemPson spin machine will be in full effect if they are some how able to win that game and I just dont think I can take rev. dilbo screaming and crying on the field in the fetal position after that game or all the mouth breathing that will be going on in the post game interview.

Prolly wishful thinking by Swag. BET awards are the same day as the CU/UGA game and he's not sure if he can pull the modern day Deon Sanders move by accepting the "Rapper of the Year" award AND lead CU to a win over UGA on the same day....

I know that ESPN has a bunch of power. But no way UGA agrees to that. And the SEC would fight that battle for them.

From a Gamecock point of view, it would benefit us for uga to play the clemson game on Monday and then have only 4 days to prepare to play us. Whether that game is on Sat or Mon GOOOOOOOO DAAAWWWGGGSSS!!!!
Still makes me nauseous to type that.

Could be a shootout with UGA rebuilding on defense...well reloading anyway...but lost all their big time playmakers. Murray and company should move it at will. Could be closer than one would think but with tons of time to prepare I see UGA winning. No way it moves to Monday and shortening UGA prep time for us. That game is more impt for them than the Tiggers.
