He has the best qb stats of anyone right now. Even better than Andrew Lucks.

he's made a huge turn around from last year. Probably due to the offensive system he's running but none the less he's doing a great job. I'm pretty impressed with his td/int ratio.

Yeh the Heisman is given on individual performance each season. He is having a great season so far and that is why he is a candidate. What is so hard about that??
Stats wise he is the best qb in the NCAA right now. With that being true him not being in the Heisman race would be a huge disgrace to football.

When you throw 24 TD compared to 3 INT, yep. Offense helps a lot but you can't argue that he has been real impressive.

Dude, as much as it pains me to say it... T. Boyd is the real deal. What he has done taking Clemson to #5 and having the best stats of any qb in the NCAA... you can't discredit him.

I'm thinking/hoping that the voters give the edge to Luck/Moore or someone else because of the system Boyd plays in. Look at Keenum. He isn't getting hyped that much. Look at the Texas Tech QBs of the past. They never got hyped the way other QBs did.

The Heisman used to be a career type award, not a one hit wonder but maybe it's changing. I still think Boyd has made a great improvement but Heisman candidate not against the opposition they have had and the fact that every decent team they have played had key players out. Can't wait to expose him Nov 26th.

oh man... I am not a tater. You people are too sensitive.
I am a Gamecock but I can see why Boyd is in the Heisman hunt. Guess all the analyst on ESPN and everywhere else are taters too. ROFLMAO
I know Luck is better than Boyd but you are kidding yourself if you are saying Boyd isn't a good qb.

Tajh Boyd was throwing 61% compared to Andrew Lucks 71% coming into tonight's games. Boyd has also been sacked 13 more times, too.
