All Things Apple=GREAT
Love mine. For surfing, email apps I would use just it if I didn't already have a mac. Just get a keyboard and you're all set. No need for anything else imho.

I love mine. Make sure to get the wi-fi and the Verizon/AT & T....that way you can use it anywhere. It's about 200 more for both.

good point. I'm not really into paying the monthly fee, or the extra cash -- I already pay for an iphone data plan, not really into paying for another...unless that one will work with the ipad. Any insight?
also, is it REALLY worth the coin for the 3g stuff?

iPad 2 is best toy ever. 3G especially Convenient when traveling. Use it on WiFi at home.
Very user friendly. Love it. :-)

I have the 3g and honestly, if you have an iphone its probably not necessary. I have both but its excessive. You can also make your iphone into a wi-fi hot spot and log into it with the ipad while travelling. If money is an issue, its not necessary, imo.

If you have a smart phone make it a mobile hot spot and save 200 and a contract. Love mine. The mobile wifi hot spot works great too, if you have a smartphone.

Love mine. If you have an iPhone you can just use that to create a wireless hotspot... that will save you from having to get the 3G version AND pay an additional fee for a data plan for just the iPad...

Between work and personal use I have a blackberry, an iphone 4, a lap top and an Ipad2. I could live just fine without the blackberry. I could live just fine with the lap top. I could get by with out the iphone. There is no way I could get by without the Ipad. I have the 3G (ATT) version and travel a lot so I use it all the time. Worth every penny IMO.
