I was at a game earlier this year... on the bottom row down the third base line and a foul ball came at us so fast there was barely time to react. It hit the rail just hard enough to deflect up into about the 10th row and take out a guy that let it go between his hands. I bet he wishes he had brought a glove.

I think golf shoes are ok. Golf shoes are appropriate, much more so than sandals or whatever. What gets me is the guys that wear all golf Attire...such as long black slacks, and perfectly fit dry joy shirt and a flat bill Taylor made hat, I.e. Dustin Johnson. Oh yeah and don't forget the white belt and Oakley shades.

i believe you dude FWIW. nothing sux worse than losing equipment at a game.
i had an incedent in another stadium restroom a few years ago. my cleats slipped on some pee and i straddled a stall door. since then i have been wearing a cup but i lost it while pinching one off during the 7th stretch last w/end. if you do find a lost/found, it's a dixie youth Large..... much abliged
