You're right about that. I don't open a lot of them.

What I've posted on this subject is more along the lines of wishing that the Gamecock fanbase were more attuned to its SEC rivals.

ok, then buy the book christian book you want and go home and read it, then decide if you want to go back or not to that store. if not find one you want to go to that sells only what you want to read. thats one of the things wrong with america today, everyone wants everyone to agree with only their views or not have one. this country was founded on being able to have different ideas. dont try to force people to do what YOU want them to do. as stated in the original post READ it or DONT. but dont jump on people who do!!!!

The Point is there doesn't need to be 25 threads about it. There is no need to start a new thread every time someone has a new thought on the subject. I am well aware that I don't have to read them, but it does clutter up the board.

Why not? What's the harm? If we had only one mega-thread about Watkins we'd be deprived of the pleasure of a poster starting a thread by calling Watkins "Sambo".

The solution is way too simple...when I want to post a new topic, I CHECK THE BOARD FIRST.

If the topic is already there, I add to the thread rather than starting a new thread.

It seems that a lot of our members feel they somehow attain celebrity status by starting a new thread.....really? Funny thing, I've seen JC and the guys add to existing threads unless they have something major to add which is deserving of its own thread and needing to be pinned.

Or maybe we disdain Clemson so much we don't care to hear or see anything about them...especially 20 threads over the last two days that pertains to them.

....so what do I do. I skip those (except once when I created a firestorm of controversy) threads and read about the subjects that I like. One of the subjects I like is YOUR views on the Sambo Weedkins case and whatever new information or new perspective that you can bring to the table.
