reading all these clemson threads makes me embarrassed

they got the #1 player. good for them. reading about how he is gonna suck, how he is overrated, etc......it really makes our fanbase look dense.
i am not rah rahing clemson here, but at least attempt to look intelligent.

you are correct.
The reality is much of our fan base is a mirror image of the Clemson fan base, except they pull for a different color.
As for the guy they got today they can obviously use him. They did give up 70 points their last game.

Actually, you can take those posts, change "Taters" to "Coots" and post them on the Clemson sites when get our next big commitment, and no one will notice a thing.
Same goes for the posts over there whenever we would land a blue chipper -- different names, same sour grapes.
I expect this kid is a good player who will have a good career. But we're getting good players, too.

Kid is a really good football player and will start from day 1, but I had some conversations today w/ some HS coaches and many of the coaches think this kid is a stud, but all definitely said that he still isn't on the level that a guy like Clowney is. Most said Clowney was the best HS football player this country has seen in the last decade. Clemson got him, will be surprised if they actually sign him, but truth is, Clemson doesn't have a good coaching staff, they are average at best and many of their players are better the day they step on campus rather than the day they leave. This commitment today and they still are not even in the top 25 in recruiting. That's pretty bad.

He is a good player. He has given a verbal. it might stick or it might not. Do ya think Ally and Uggy are going to stop recruting him?
If he stays with Clemmy, we can introduce him to Mr. Shell.
Further, with him in their lineup, they may be able to limit West Virginia to just 55-60 points.
He is a good player. Poormouthing his abilities is not characteristic of USC folks.
