Dj,
Can you give an idea on the rule differences in the men's and women's game? Like the lack of a 10 sec backcourt violation. Is there a 5 sec count? Any other rules that do not apply to the women? And why they have no 10 sec rule?

pretty much all the rules are the same except for the no 10 sec rule and women have 30 sec shot clock as opposed to 35. 3 pt line is slightly closer....that's about it!!

I'm not sure why they decided not to have a 10 second rule originally, but I'm kind of glad they don't . I think putting it in would increase turnovers, and there are already more turnovers in the women's game . I don't think more turnovers would help the entertainment value any .

South Carolina didn't turn it over as much this year , but in general I think there are more turnovers in the women's games . I haven't sat down and compared the stats, just going on the games I've watched .

Florida was best among the men averaging 11.1 turnovers . South Carolina was best among the women averaging 14.2 turnovers .
