  • Gamecock Baseball Fans:

Thank you for supporting the Gamecocks as they travel to Charleston to face the Clemson Tigers at Joseph P. Riley, Jr. Park tomorrow! Stadium gates open at 4:30 p.m. with first pitch scheduled for 6 p.m. This game is sold out.

All parking lots open at 3 p.m. Locations are indicated on the map below. Please note the City of Charleston ordinances prohibit consumption of alcohol and use of open-flame cooking.

The Gamecock Club invites all fans to visit South Carolina's tent at the official tailgate party in the right field area of Brittlebank Park, also labeled on the map. The Gamecocks' tent will feature championship trophies, the bounce house, and Cocky. The overall tailgate will also include food and games.

Tailgate tickets are $10 per person and may be purchased online here, at the RiverDogs' front office, or at the gate at 3 p.m. on game day. Children ages three and under are admitted free.

    Go Gamecocks!

  • Well, the lots that are usually free for the game with The Citadel were 5 bucks last night . They also decided to charge 5 bucks for soft drinks at the concession stand . I guess they had to bid a lot to get awarded the game .

Caught me off guard to pay down there to park but that is how it is I guess. Never paid to park there for any other baseball game.

Concessions seemed to be overwhelmed by the crowd. I guess they forgot to tell them it was a sellout. LOL

I'm not upset that I had to pay to park. Kind of expect it at most games.

Did you have any trouble getting out? I jumped the curb and got in line behind the team bus. They had a police escort and still sat in traffic until they got to 17. Then they took off while I sat at the light and I never saw them again.

We hung around until the parking lot emptied out a little . It was almost 10:00 when we left .
