So based on this, are you assuming that they will only use Joey Pankake at short and not at all as a pitcher or are you just listing the people that you think will be constant contributors on the pitching staff?

Belcher scares me. Seems to have major control issues.

In games this year, Belcher seemed much better from a control standpoint. His stats were really good in limited opportunities. I am hopeful he gets more innings next year.
He scared the crud out of me with his control at one time as well, but has really seemed to figure it out.

I would love to see Seddon win a weekend spot but with his lack of experience in big games, I would guess the rotation has a better chance of being Montgomery, Beal, Holmes or Montgomery, Koumas, Holmes. Just my gut feeling though, and I was probably the biggest advocate for Monty on this board in the fall and going into the season in 2012. He might be better as a Saturday or Sunday guy, but I've seen him rise to challenges for years when people thought he was in over his head.

No need to be scared of Nolan on the mound. If you saw him at all in any of the intrasquad or regular season games you would know that he did not exhibit "major control problems".
