I understand Tanner is a great coach but is Matthews our best option in outfield. He is terrible at the plate. he is the least impressive batter we have.

We just don't look good tonight, marzilli makes that play 99 times out of 100. Colby just wasn't good, hit the nine hole hitter with a pitch 3 feet inside. Hitters looks at 3 fastball strikes over the middle of the plate. Misplay on hit in the first to prevent a play at home. All while pig sooey is making plays. Going to take a Herculean effort by Webb and the hitters have got to get going.

Matthews has done some great things for us over his career and he is a local kid, but he couldn't hit it if a bowling ball was thrown up there. Holmes gets hit often as well. I'm nervous about this game. Doesn't look good so far.

Yeah I think this was the game to move the order around we haven't been scoring alot and Vergy has been hot. He needs to be around 5 so when he bats men are on. Matthews comes through just 1-6 times he has a shot (just a guess but lately he's struggling).
