well we had a chance right there and couldnt get a run across. That sucked! This hurts. Team had a Great year. Nobody thought we would be back in the championship series. Lets just get back again next year!

It was a hell of a year. We have some huge holes to fill with the loss of Roth and the likely loss of Marzilli, Walker, and Price. Bigger holes than last year really, but it's close. We'll need some guys to really step up but we definitely have some amazing talent returning and coming in. Great job by Arizona in the post season. They were the best team. I didn't give them enough credit coming in because I wasn't sure about the level of competition they had beaten but they are very, very good.

Arizona was very good. In all honesty I think we can get back to Omaha next year. Hitting will improve w all the young talent. We are a top flight program in every way. We will see a lot of Omaha for years to come. We did just have the second best dynasty in the history of college baseball.

True, I know I pissed some people off here the last couple of days but I think even the ones who are never satisfied and never happy will have to admit to themselves that we exceeded all expectations and were able to overcome our weaknesses until the very end when we faced a team who was very good, very hot, and got all the breaks we've grown accustomed to getting in Omaha.

I love football and basketball season too, but I'm one of the few who count down the months, weeks, and days until baseball season every year. While I will join everyone in being pumped about football this fall, I'll be that guy on the baseball board wanting fall baseball practice info every day. I get depressed when baseball ends every year.

  • Congrats to Arizona. They are an outstanding team and certainly earned this championship.

Always proud of our team and coaching staff and this year even more so. It was an absolutely outstanding year and making it this far after our 1-5 start in conference play speaks volumes about the coaches and players, their tenacity, their maturity, confidence and hard work.

The foundation was already laid for more CWS and National Championships in the future. Despite the loss tonight that foundation just got a lot stronger for more appearances and Championships in the future.

I am certainly going to miss the likes of Roth, Price, Walker, Matthews & Marzilli but the countdown for the 2013 season has already begun for me. Looking forward to next year's team.

We love the game because of the flow and where it falls in the season. Baseball is the perfect middle-ground in that it marries the hyper-intensive basketball season with the slower moving football season.

I feel blessed that we both have had the chance to enjoy collegiate success this far into the summer while others have gone home wondering when the football season starts.

Great game guys. We are always up for a rematch. See you all next year.

    Congrats to your guys.

    Very good hitting team.

I do hope we meet again, in Omaha, soon.
