Scott Wingo has agreed to terms with the Dodgers

Just spoke to Scott Wingo and he's agreed to terms with the Dodgers. He'll report to Ogden, Utah to play in Rookie ball with the Raptors sometime the middle of this coming week. Of course, Mauldin is having Scott Wingo Day tomorrow. His jersey will be retired and he's being given a key to the city.
I know he was a senior and there was no way to bring him back for another year but I still can't get my head around the fact that there will be a new second baseman next year.
Congratulations to Scott. I truly believe he'll be a very good professional baseball player. It would not shock me in the slightest if he makes it to the show. He's already got a professional glove. If he can just hit .250, he'll climb the ladder.

The Dodgers, financial situation aside, are a cool franchise.
He fields better than Uggla right now (changing subject to Braves).

Thanks Scott for all the memories. I think he has to go down as one of the best to ever put a uniform on for the Gamecocks Baseball team. I will never forget u man u brought us all so many great memories good luck to u buddy!!!

I'm a huge Dodger fan, I 've in LA for 13 years. Any chance Wingo can own the team as well? He's learned more about 'How the game should be played, coached and respected' from Tanner and Holbrook then the current ownership will ever know. Congrats Scott Wingo...You're a gamer! say "Hi" to Lasorda for me.

I will be purchasing a Dodger hat now that it is official. I have never enjoyed watching a more exciting player than Wingo. Any true baseball fan that understands how the game is supposed to be played knows what I'm talking about. He is just your typical all about the team win, dirtbag!...Good Luck Scotty, You will be missed at Carolina Stadium.
