Seems harsh for this. Guy made a bad decision. Should it really possibly affect the rest of his life? He didn't rob, rape, murder or purposefully harm anyone. Now I know DUI can result in serious accidents, but it did not here. How many of us have driven under the influence or know folks who do it on a regular basis? Just seems might harsh for a bad decision that only hurt him. JMHO

I don't drive under the influence, and I don't associate with people who make the poor decision to do so. Ray doesn't want people who make bad decisions on his team. It's his way, or hit the road. I admire him for the position he takes.

I am sure there are people that I know that do drink and drive. But if I know about it, I won't associate with them in any way, shape or form.
I don't really like people that don't respect other people any more than that.
Kudos to Ray. I hope this person gets the help they need. But they don't deserve to be a baseball athlete at the University of South Carolina at this time.

It only takes ONE time & it seems the drunk never gets hurts. Just the innocent others who are at the right place at the wrong time. Call a cab or walk

DUI is a serious offense. Nobody was hurt this time. But everyday someone is killed in a DUI.
I personally will never get behind the wheel when I have had too much to drink. And I never have.
Seems like a good decision by Ray to me.
Ray kicked Chisenhall off the team. It did affect his life. He realized he needed to straighten up and he did. Look where he is now.
Drinking is one thing. Not sure of his age but he may be legal to drink. But getting behind the wheel is another and deserves a harsh punishment.
