USC remains No. 3 in Baseball America poll ...

  • Wow, the top 3 teams (Florida, Stanford, USC) are playing some great baseball. I think Stanford has proven the most thus far by sweeping Texas this past weekend by a combined score of 28-5. It doesn't matter if this isn't your typical Texas team, that's just domination.

    Not that it matters, but at this point in the season I would have Stanford #1 followed by USC and then Florida. However, It looks like all three are near-locks to make it to Omaha. But you know how baseball goes sometimes.

    RPI this early in the season doesn't mean much, It takes Texas' record too much into account, which has 3 extra losses due to playing Stanford. Not saying this is a worthless poll, but at this point in time I take it with a grain of salt.

    I think it is worthless. LOL

    Of course I think that at the end of the year also. But it is a little important to the NCAA.

    agreed, it shouldn't be as important as it is. It doesn't account for logic, but I suppose that is what the human polls are for...lol
