Wow, the top 3 teams (Florida, Stanford, USC) are playing some great baseball. I think Stanford has proven the most thus far by sweeping Texas this past weekend by a combined score of 28-5. It doesn't matter if this isn't your typical Texas team, that's just domination.
Not that it matters, but at this point in the season I would have Stanford #1 followed by USC and then Florida. However, It looks like all three are near-locks to make it to Omaha. But you know how baseball goes sometimes.

agreed, it shouldn't be as important as it is. It doesn't account for logic, but I suppose that is what the human polls are for...
