I haven't read this thread and wasn't able to watch the game. That said, anyone acting surprised or upset over this result must've spent the day huffing various household cleaners. This team is beyond depleted. They were a bad team at full strength. They just lost one of their top two or three players in addition to all the injuries. They will probably be lucky to win more than 2-3 games in the SEC.
Maybe some of you conveniently forgot, this was a 2-14 team in league play last year and they lost arguably their top two players. I'm sorry if the non-conference schedule of squeaking by complete cream puffs for ten wins had you fooled, but feel free to check back into reality now. There's no sense in getting upset when a completely depleted and talent lacking team loses games to other crappy teams (especially on the road). We're seeing some promising signs in building for the future, but this season is not going to be one that we'll want to remember in the long run.
