I am at the South Carolina High School State Championships but will have some updates as well.

Had a 10 point lead and now trail by 7. USC is such a lousy basketball team. Makes me want to puke. I do NOT want Horn back next year. And right now, I don't want any of the current players back either. I am sick of this mess.

My favorite part of the half was when Horn took Ellington, Cooke, Harris, and Leonard out and put Jackson, Geathers, Smith, and Williams in. Good offensive strategy there.

Doesn't this team now hold the record? Fewest SEC wins in a season? They must be so proud. I think next year's team has a chance to break that record.

Final, Georgia defeats South Carolina 67-55. Gamecocks finish the season 10-20 overall and 2-14 in conference play.
They will be the 12 seed in the SEC Tournament next week in New Orleans and play the 3:30 game against the five seed which has yet to be determined.

Willy G. you, nor does anyone else deserve to be paid to cover this team. I've had it. D. Horn is an embarrassment to our University. He must go. Bottom line. If Hyman won't fire him then other measures must be considered. I mean buy him out...LOL.

The next game will be the last of this miserable season. I'm looking forward to it being over. My hope is that Hyman, and the BOT will have the wisdom to fire this staff and hire someone good. They could do right by firing Horn and staff, and then screw up by hiring the wrong coach. Firing Horn by itself will not be enough, they also have to make the right hire. Greg Marshall would seem to me to be the right hire.

I am worn out and like everybody else will be very happy when it is over. In fact I may take a 3 day vacation after next Sunday.

I think he's trying to say USC Basketball isn't deserving of coverage based on how bad they've been. You certainly do a good job WG, far more patient than I would be.
